2011 Banks in Harmony schedule announced

This year’s homegrown music festival will feature the usual mix of blues, soul, rock, world and vintage pop. Now in its 25th year, the Banks in Harmony concert series will feature familiar names from the metro area music scene at the city’s parks, a roster that includes Dixieland jazz veterans the Queen City Jazz Band and Zephyr Lounge regulars Papa Juke.

Concerts run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays during the summer. Admission is free, and food is available for sale on site from Helga’s Restaurant, Jason’s Deli, Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ and Cold Stone Creamery.

Banks in Harmony is sponsored by the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, 1st Bank of Aurora, Citywide Banks, KeyBank, the City of Aurora Cultural Services Division, Wells Fargo Banks, KEZW Studio 1430, the Aurora Sentinel and Aurora 8.
