2011 Banks in Harmony schedule announced

This year’s homegrown music festival will feature the usual mix of blues, soul, rock, world and vintage pop. Now in its 25^th year, the Banks in Harmony concert series will feature familiar names from the metro area music scene at the city’s parks, a roster that includes Dixieland jazz veterans the Queen City Jazz Band and Zephyr Lounge regulars Papa Juke.

Concerts run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays during the summer. Admission is free, and food is available for sale on site from Helga’s Restaurant, Jason’s Deli, Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ and Cold Stone Creamery.
